As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in aging, I have had the incredible privilege of traveling alongside many individuals and families who are facing Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease or other life altering illnesses. The stories and triumphs that I have witnessed have helped shape my practice and have illustrated that strength and resilience can be found in each and every person regardless of their life course. This has inspired me to help people to
focus less on their diagnosis and more on their strengths, allowing them to live
their best lives and to make the most of the moments they have.
For more than a decade, I trained and worked at some of the nation’s top neurology and aging institutions including the NYU Center for Excellence in Brain Aging, Hebrew Home at Riverdale and the Alzheimer’s Association. Each of these opportunities allowed me to work with older adults and families during transitional moments in their lives and to serve as a guide as they learn to navigate new territories with success.
I use a person centered and strength based approach, meeting each individual where they are on their journey and I would love to walk aside you on yours. I offer online, secure video sessions eliminating the need to commute to therapy and making it easier to fit into your busy schedule.
